The Church is centrally located in Lochgilphead a town and former burgh in Argyll and Bute. It is the administrative centre of Argyll and Bute Council. The town lies at the end of Loch Gilp (a branch of Loch Fyne) and close to the banks of the Crinan Canal.
Ardrishaig Church lies within the coastal village of Ardrishaig on the edge of Loch Gilp and, at the southern and eastern entrance to the Crinan Canal in Argyll & Bute. It also lies just a few miles south of Lochgilphead.
Tayvallich Church lies in the centre of Tayvallich a small village in the Knapdale area of Argyll and Bute. The village name has its origins in Gaelic, and means the “house of the pass”. The village is built around a sheltered harbour on Loch Sween.
